An Order of Protection is an Order entered by the Court which prohibits another person from certain actions or conduct. Usually, an Order of Protection prohibits a person from have any contact with the person who requested the Order of Protection. Additionally, an Order of Protection usually orders a person to stay away from that person and not abuse, harass, stalk or otherwise effect the person who had requested the Order.
